Additional Land taken on the Kopuaranga Section for the Purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable, for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Wellington-Napier Railway, to take further land on the Kopuaranga Section, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by "The Public Works Act, 1882," and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the schedule hereto is taken for the purposes above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General in Her Majesty's Army, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this nineteenth day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six.

Land taken for Further Portion of Hurunui-Waitaki Railway (Part of Branch from Main Line to Upper Ashburton).

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for further portion of the Hurunui-Waitaki Railway, namely, part of branch from Main Line to Upper Ashburton:

And whereas all conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land in the manner hereby provided have been observed and performed:

Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section one hundred and thirty of "The Public Works Act, 1882," and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is taken for the further portion of the said line of railway hereinbefore specified.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one hundred and sixty-sixth section of "The Land Act, 1885," I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the land described in the Schedule hereto for sale as a village settlement, upon such terms and conditions as are to be set forth in an Order in Council to be made under the one hundred and sixty-seventh section of the said Act.
