PURSUANT to the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand, passed in the forty-fourth year of the reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria, and intituled “The Marriage Act, 1880,” the following name of an Officiating Minister within the meaning of the said Act is published for general information:—

PATENT for an Invention for an improved Process of treating certain Descriptions of Auriferous and Argentiferous Material, for the purpose of facilitating the Separation of the Metals contained therein.

ELIZABETH BARNSTON PARNELL, of Sydney, in the Colony of New South Wales, has deposited at this office a specification of the said invention; and I have appointed Tuesday, the 25th day of May next, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, at this office, to hear the said application and all objections thereto; and I require all persons having an interest in opposing the grant of such Letters Patent to leave, on or before the 10th day of May next, at this office, particulars in writing of their objections to the said application, otherwise they will be precluded from urging the same.
