A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the one hundred and ninety-seventh
section of “The Land Act, 1885,” and of every other power
and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, William
Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of
New Zealand, do hereby declare that the section of land
enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the
provisions of sections one hundred and ninety-eight to two
hundred and nineteen of Part VII. of “The Land Act, 1885,”
relating to small grazing runs.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the second section of “The Public
Reserves Sale Act, 1882,” I, William Francis Drummond
Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do
hereby set apart the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto
for sale for cash, upon the terms and conditions prescribed
by “The Land Act, 1885.”

Establishment of Local Land Offices at Patea.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the forty-fourth section of “The
Land Act, 1885,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby establish
the Land Offices at Patea and Hawera Local Land Offices
for the Local Districts of West Coast (North Island) and
the Land Office at Patea to be also a Local Land Office for
the Local Land District of Waitotara, as defined in the
Schedule to the Proclamation issued under my hand on the
fifth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and
eighty-five, and published in the New Zealand Gazette
number sixty-three, of the twelfth day of November, one
thousand eight hundred and eighty-five.

Land set apart on Deferred Payments in Taranaki.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by the one hundred and fourth section of
“The Land Act, 1885,” it is enacted that the
Governor, by Proclamation in the Gazette, may from time
to time set apart out of any suburban or rural lands such
blocks or allotments of land as he shall think fit, and set
the same aside for sale on deferred payments, and in such
Proclamation may fix a day on which the land shall be open
for application; and that he may also in like manner set
apart for sale on deferred payments such blocks or allot-
ments as may be recommended by any Land Board, and
may also from time to time alter, amend, or revoke any
such Proclamation:

And whereas the Land Board of Taranaki has passed
a resolution recommending that the land described in the
Schedule hereto annexed should be set apart for sale on de-
ferred payments:

And whereas it is expedient to give effect to the aforesaid
recommendation, and to set apart the said land accordingly:

Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance
and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the
above-named Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the
land described in the Schedule hereto is set apart for sale on
deferred payments; and that Wednesday, the twenty-seventh
day of January, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-
six, shall be the day on which the said land shall be open for
application, in allotments as surveyed and marked on the
selection map in the principal land office of the district.

And in pursuance of the one hundred and tenth section
of “The Land Act, 1885,” I do hereby fix the price at which
the land so described shall be sold to be the price stated in
the Schedule hereto.
