any time resumed by the Governor, without payment of
any compensation whatever, on giving to the said William
Brownlee six calendar months' previous notice in writing.
Any such notice shall be sufficient if given by the Minister,
and delivered at or posted to the last known address of the
said William Brownlee.
9. The said William Brownlee shall be liable for any
injury which the said wharf may cause any vessel or boat to
sustain through any default or neglect on his part.
10. In case the said William Brownlee shall—
(1.) Commit or suffer a breach of the conditions herein-
before set forth, or any of them;
(2.) Cease to use or occupy the said wharf;
(3.) Fail to pay the sum specified in clause two of these
conditions; or
(4.) Become bankrupt or be in any manner brought under
the operation of any Act for the time being in force
relating to bankruptcy;
then and in any of the said cases this Order in Council, and
every right, power, or privilege, may be revoked and deter-
mined by the Governor in Council without any notice to the
said William Brownlee or other proceeding whatsoever, and
publication in the New Zealand Gazette of an Order in
Council containing such revocation shall be sufficient notice
to the said William Brownlee, and to all persons concerned
or interested, that this Order in Council, and the rights and
privileges thereby conferred, have been revoked and deter-
mined.
11. In these conditions the term “Minister” means the
Minister having charge of the Marine Department, as defined
by “The Shipping and Seamen's Act, 1877,” and includes
any officer, person, or authority acting by or under the
direction of such Minister.

BY virtue of the power and authority contained in “The
Special Powers and Contracts Act, 1884,” I, William
Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of
New Zealand, do hereby authorize the Commissioner of
Crown Lands at Canterbury to sell by public auction, after
three months' notice duly advertised in the local newspapers,
all that parcel of land in the Waitangi Survey District, Pro-
vincial District of Canterbury, being Gravel Reserve number
eight hundred and seventeen, and containing five acres.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this fourteenth day of January, one thousand
eight hundred and eighty-five.

conferred upon me by “The Special Powers and Con-
tracts Act, 1884,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby vest in
the under-mentioned persons the parcel of land described in
the Schedule hereto, to hold as Trustees, upon trust as a site
for a public hall, under the provisions of “The Public Re-
serves Act, 1881,” and any Acts amending the same,
namely,—

situate in the Maramarua Survey District. Bounded towards
the North-west by a road, 125 links; towards the North-east
by Lot No. 31, 200 links; towards the South-east by Lot No.
33, 125 links; and towards the South-west by a road, 200
links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this eighteenth day of January, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty-five.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by “The Public Health Act, 1876,” I, William Francis Drummond
Jervois, the Governor of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several places mentioned in the second column of the
Schedule hereto as and to be the places at which the Public Vaccinators appointed for the respective districts mentioned
in the first column of the said Schedule shall attend for the performance of vaccination, as required by the said Act; and I
do hereby give notice that each such Public Vaccinator will attend at the respective places aforesaid, for the purpose of
performing such vaccination, on the days and at the hours set forth in the third column of the said Schedule opposite the
name of each such place; and, further, that at each such place as last aforesaid the Public Vaccinator will attend, for the
purpose of inspecting the progress of such vaccination in the persons so vaccinated, on the days and at the hours respec-
tively set forth in the fourth column of the said Schedule opposite the name of each such place.
