Application for Rehearing of Claim granted.

NATIVE LAND COURT, NEW ZEALAND:
DISTRICT OF GISBORNE.

IN the matter of a decision of the Court given during a
session opened at Gisborne, on the 27th day of August,
1883, upon the hearing of a claim for the subdivision of the
land situate in the District of Poverty Bay, in the Provin-
cial District of Auckland, and known as "Kaiti;" and in the
matter of an application for a rehearing upon the aforesaid
claim, made to this Court in writing within three months
after such decision, by Hirini te Kani and others thinking
themselves aggrieved thereby:

I, John Edwin Macdonald, Chief Judge of the said Court,
and in exercise of the authority in that behalf vested in
me, do hereby order that a rehearing upon such claim be
had on Monday, the 7th day of December, 1885, at a sitting
of the Court to be then holden at Gisborne, in the said
district.

Hereditaments.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a sitting of this Court
to be held at Te Taheke, in the District of Rotoiti,
on the 26th day of November next, will be heard the appli-
cations of the persons whose names appear in the first
column for the subdivision of the hereditaments comprised
in the Crown grants of the pieces of land the names of
which appear in the second column, situate in the districts
named in the third column.

And, in pursuance of the provisions of section 7 of "The
Native Land Division Act, 1882," all persons having in their
possession any original grant or other instrument of title
relating to any of the lands aforesaid are hereby ordered to
produce the same at the said sitting of the Court.
