NOTICE is hereby given that Messrs. STANFORD AND MILNE, of High Street, Dunedin, in the Colony of New Zealand, Solicitors, have applied, on behalf of GEORGE SAMUEL CASSON AND WILLIAM CHARLES RICHARDS, trading at Dunedin aforesaid, under the style of “Geo. S. Casson & Co.,” as Manufacturers of Washing Fluid, to register, under “The Trade Marks Act, 1866,” the trade mark of which the following is a description, viz.:

Description of Trade Mark.

A paper label with the following: On a red ground in white letters, “Casson and Co.’s Invincible Cleanser and Washing Fluid, for wool-scouring, washing clothes, cleaning silver, paint work, scrubbing floors, cleaning windows. Sold by all first-class grocers and storekeepers throughout the colony. Price, 1s. per bottle. Wholesale dépôt: Albany Street, Dunedin.” In a current hand across the label diagonally, in blue lettering, is a facsimile of the signature “Geo. S. Casson and Co.” Around the top of the label, on a semi-circular white band in blue letters, the words “None genuine unless bearing facsimile of our signature.” Along the foot of the label, on a white ground in blue letters, the words “Registered Trade Mark Label.” Two white pillars with blue outlined lozenge device up the sides of the label.

Nature of the Article to which it is intended such Trade Mark shall apply.

Casson and Co.’s invincible cleanser and washing fluid.
