SPECIAL ORDERS made by Cook County Council.

Colonial Secretary's Office,
Wellington, 12th January, 1885.

THE following special orders, made by the Council of
the County of Cook, are published in accordance with
"The Counties Act 1876 Amendment Act, 1882."

EDWARD RICHARDSON,
(for the Colonial Secretary.)

SPECIAL ORDER.

RESOLVED, That the following roads be proclaimed county
roads in terms of section 81, "Public Works Act, 1882":-
(1.) The road through the Whataupoko Block, known as
the Waimata Road, from the boundary of the Borough of
Gisborne to its junction with the Ormond Main Road by way
of the Quarry Road, Waihirere.
(2.) The road known as the Waimata Hill Road, from Mr.
Gray's corner on the Waimata Road to the Waimata River
by way of the Waimata West Block
(3.) The road known as Smith's Road, Patutahi, from its
junction with the Gisborne-Wairoa Road at the southern
angle of the Whenuakura Block to the north-eastern angle
of Section 73, near Patutahi Township.

I certify that the foregoing special order was made by the
Cook County Council on the 8th day of January, 1885, and
that all the provisions of the Counties Act have been com-
plied with.

SPECIAL ORDER.

Resolved-(1.) That the Waikohu Road Board be dissolved,
in terms of section 13 of "The Road Boards Act, 1882," and
that the election of a new Board be held on the 10th Febru-
ary, 1885.
(2.) That the Waikohu Road Board Office be the polling-
place.
(3.) That Charles Colton Lambert, Esq., be the Returning
Officer.
(4.) That the number of members be five.

I certify that the foregoing special order was made by the
Cook County Council on the 8th day of January, 1885, and
that all the provisions of the several statutes relating thereto
have been complied with.

SPECIAL ORDER.

Resolved-(1.) That the Turanganui Road Board be dis-
solved, in terms of section 13, "Road Boards Act, 1882," and
that the election of a new Board be held on the 10th day of
February, 1885.
(2.) That the Courthouse, Tolago Bay, shall be the polling-
place.
(3.) That Martin D. Stagpoole, Esq., shall be the Returning
Officer.
(4.) That the number of members be five.

I certify that the foregoing special order was made by the
Cook County Council on the 8th day of January, 1885, and
that all the provisions of the several statutes relating thereto
have been fully complied with.

Board, County of Manukau, is published in accord-
ance with the provisions of "The Road Boards Act, 1882."

By-LAW.

THE owner of any horse, sheep, swine, goat, or any other
beast or cattle of any kind which shall, at any time after
this by-law shall come into operation, be found depasturing
in or upon any fenced or formed road, or the sides or any
ditch or bank thereof, after the hours of sunset or before the
hour of sunrise, within the limits of the Pakuranga Road
