Application for Registration of a Trade Mark.

NOTICE is hereby given that JOHN HENRY HEATON, of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand, has applied, on behalf of Messrs. LANGE AND THONEMAN, of Melbourne, in the Colony of Victoria, to register, under “The Trade Marks Act, 1866,” the trade mark of which the following is a description :—

Description of Trade Mark.
An oval label, with the representation of a female wearing a large hat and feather. An oblong label, with the words “Marie. Fabrica de Cigarros Superiores de Antonio Amicosy Hº Calle de Catalina No. 27, Habana.” These labels are affixed to boxes containing cigars, the boxes being branded with the words “Marie,” with scroll ornamentation, and “Brevas de Calidad,” the cigars being made up in packages of ten each and wrapped in leaf, and marked with the words “Marie Brevas de Calidad;” the whole of the foregoing being one trade mark.

Nature of the Article to which it is intended such Trade Mark shall apply.
