NOTICE.

"THE DISTRICT LAW SOCIETIES ACT, 1878."

The following resolution was passed at a meeting of the
Solicitors residing and practising in such part of the
Nelson Judicial District of the Supreme Court of New Zea-
land as is comprised within the Provincial District of Nel-
son, duly constituted and convened in accordance with the
provisions of the said Act, and held at the office of Messrs.
Fell and Atkinson, Solicitors, Hardy Street, in the City of
Nelson, on Wednesday, the 12th day of August, 1885:—
Resolution: "That the Solicitors of the Supreme Court of
New Zealand residing within the limits of such part of the
Nelson Judicial District of the said Supreme Court as is
comprised within the Provincial District of Nelson shall be
associated as a society, by the name of 'The Law Society
of the District of Nelson.'"

tralian Mercantile Union Insurance Company (Limited),
having its head office in Melbourne, and now carrying on
business in New Zealand, has its head office for the said
colony in Cathedral Square, Christchurch, in the Provincial
District of Canterbury, where legal proceedings may be
served upon it, and to which notices may be addressed or
given.
