Act, 1883," give notice that on the 7th day of August, 1885,
the title to the land mentioned in the Schedule herein
became, within the meaning of the said Act, ascertained;
and, further, that dealings with the said land will cease to be
prohibited by the provisions of the said Act on the 16th day
of September, 1885.

SCHEDULE.

Such part of the land known as Manukatutahi-ki-Otautanga
or Maungatautari as was by the Native Land Court made
the subject of an order for certificate of title in favour of the
Ngatihaaua Hapu, and which part, with land the subject
of a notice given by me under the said Act, dated the 18th
day of May, 1885, and published in the Gazette No. 34, 1885,
form together the whole of the land known by the name
aforesaid.

for sale on deferred payments, and that Wednesday, the 2nd
September next, has been fixed as the day on which the
said land shall be open for application at this office.

cation, on deferred payments, at the Land Offices,
Patea and Hawera, on Wednesday, the 2nd September, 1885.
Residence not compulsory.

In the event of more than one application being received
for any one section, the right to occupy the same will be
decided by public auction, at Hawera, on Thursday, the 3rd
September, at 11 o'clock a.m.

Suburban Land classed as Rural Land.

IN pursuance of section 39 of “The Land Act, 1877,” the
Marlborough Land Board, having previously obtained
the consent of His Excellency the Governor in Council, hath
declared that the under-mentioned lands shall, on the publi-
cation of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette, cease to
belong to the class of suburban land and shall be classed as
rural land:—

Kaikoura: Suburban part of Section 95, 36 acres and 24
perches; part of Section 87, 25 acres; and Section 88, 45
acres.
