REMARKS.—From 1st to 6th fine, with N.W. wind and fresh, strong on 6th ; 7th to 10th showery, strong N.W. wind on 7th ; from 11th to 17th very fine pleasant weather, some frosty nights, strong N.W. wind on 16th and 17th ; showery on 18th, and 1·45in. rain recorded on 19th, the maximum for month ; 20th to 27th fine, and light easterly winds and frosty nights, last three days showery ; thunder on 8th ; fog on 25th, 26th, and 27th. Maximum temperature in shade 60·3, minimum 34·5 ; average dewpoint, 44·7 ; average humidity (saturation=100), 83.

Land Transfer Act Notices.

NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels of land hereinafter described will be brought under the provisions of “The Land Transfer Act, 1870,” unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same within one month from date of Gazette containing this notice.

  1. THOMAS BURNS.—10 perches, being Sections 359 and 88, Hokitika. Occupied by Applicant.

NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels of land hereinafter described will be brought under the provisions of “The Land Transfer Act, 1870,” unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same in each case on or before the 17th day of August next.

HENRY HIRST.—Part of Allotment 135 of Section 10 of the Suburbs of Auckland, containing 10 acres 1 rood 20 perches. In Applicant’s occupation. 2382.

JOSIAH CLIFTON FIRTH.—All that block of land called or known by the name of Puketutu No. 1b, No. 892b, containing 5,614 acres ; also all that block of land called or known by the name of Puketutu No. 1c, No. 892c, containing 771 acres. In Applicant’s occupation. 2395.

WHEREAS HENRY HAMILTON BRIDGE, of Fairfield, Hawke’s Bay, Sheepfarmer, the registered Proprietor of Section 118, Ormondville Special Settlement, has lodged with me a declaration of the loss of the receipt by the Receiver of Land Revenue for the purchase-money of the said section, registered in Provisional Register, Vol. v., folio 28 : Now I hereby give notice of my intention to issue a provisional receipt, in lieu of the receipt which has been lost, at the expiration of fourteen days after the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

WHEREAS EDWARD KNIGHT BROWN, of Gisborne, Merchant, having applied to me, in terms of clause 104 of the Land Transfer Act, to issue to him a provisional certificate of title in lieu of Crown grant (Vol. i., folio 270) for Allotment No. 22, Gisborne, which has been destroyed, I hereby give notice of my intention to issue such provisional certificate of title at the expiration of fourteen days after the date of the Gazette containing this notice.
