ending the 30th June, 1885, in accordance with section 135
of "The Mining Companies Act, 1872."

When formed, and date of registration: 12th July, 1877;
21st August, 1877.

Nominal capital: £24,000.
Amount of paid-up scrip given to shareholders: £19,200.
Number of shares into which capital is divided: 24,000.
Number of shares taken: 24,000.

To the Mining Registrar at Clyde of the Otago Goldfields
Mining District, and all other persons whom it may
concern.

TAKE notice that it is intended to construct a Water-
race and divert water for domestic and irrigation
purposes, commencing at a point in the Fraser River about
10 yards from James Slavin's dam, and in the freehold of
William Fraser, Esq., of Earnscleugh Station, and terminating in my paddock on the bank of the Molyneux.
The length of such race is two miles and a half or there-
abouts, with a mean depth of 1 foot 6 inches, and a mean
breadth of 2 feet; course, east and west; and it is intended
to divert two Government-heads of water.

It is only intended to divert water after all previous rights
from the Fraser River are satisfied.

In the matter of "The Companies Act, 1882," and of the
Collingwood Coal-Mining Company (Limited).

NOTICE is hereby given that, at a general meeting of
the shareholders, held at the registered office of
the company on the 5th day of May, 1885, it was resolved,
"That the Collingwood Coal-Mining Company (Limited) be
wound up voluntarily;" and that at a special meeting of
the shareholders, held on the 26th day of May, 1885, such
resolution was confirmed, in accordance with the provisions
of the statute.

And notice is hereby further given that ARTHUR ASHTON
SCAIFE was appointed Liquidator of the said company.

AT a special general meeting of the Riverton Shipping
Company (Limited), held on the 18th August, 1884,
an extraordinary resolution was passed that the company
be wound up voluntarily.

A meeting of the members of the Riverton Shipping Com-
pany (Limited) will be held in the company's office, on
Saturday evening, the 12th September, 1885, to hear the
Liquidator's final report and statement of affairs.
