Land taken for a Road in Pukekura Road District, Provincial District of Auckland.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1882,” for a certain work, to wit, the construction of a road in Pukekura Road District, Provincial District of Auckland :

And whereas the Pukekura Road Board has laid before the Governor the memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act :

Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by section eleven of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are hereby taken for the purposes of a road ; and that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the lands so mentioned shall become absolutely vested in fee-simple in Her Majesty, discharged from all mortgages, charges, claims, estates, or interests of what kind soever, for use as a road.

SCHEDULE.

All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 31 perches, situate in the Parish of Te Rapa, in the Pukekura Road District, and being a road-line and a landing-place lying within Section No. 356 ; commencing at a point on the western side of the road which forms the eastern boundary of Section No. 356 at a distance of 562 links or thereabouts from the Waikato River. Bounded—North-easterly by lines, 102 and 236 links respectively; Easterly by a line, 445 links; Northerly by the Waikato River; South-westerly by lines, 851 and 172 links respectively; Easterly by a line to the commencing point, 118 links.

All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 2 acres 2 roods 39 perches, situate in the Survey District of Hamilton, being portion of Allotment No. 51, Parish of Pukekura ; commencing at the north-easternmost corner of Allotment No. 51. Bounded—South-easterly by a line, 2761 links; South-westerly by a line, 100 links; North-westerly by a line, 2735 links; Northerly by public road to commencing point, 103 links.

All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods 37 perches, situate in the Survey District of Hamilton, being portion of Allotment No. 52, Parish of Pukekura ; commencing at the north-easternmost corner of Allotment No. 52. Bounded—South-easterly by a line, 1735 links; South-westerly by a line, 100 links; North-westerly by a line, 1735 links; North-easterly by a line to commencing point, 100 links.

All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 26 perches, situate in the Survey District of Hamilton, being portion of Allotment No. 53, Parish of Pukekura ; commencing at the north-easternmost corner of Allotment No. 53. Bounded—South-easterly by a line, 1415 links; South-westerly by a line, 100 links; North-westerly by a line, 1415 links; North-easterly by a line to commencing point, 100 links.

All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 39 perches, situate in the Survey District of Hamilton, being portion of Allotment No. 54, Parish of Pukekura ; commencing at the north-easternmost corner of Allotment No. 54. Bounded—South-easterly by a line, 1245 links; South-westerly by a public road, 100 links; North-westerly by a line, 1245 links; North-easterly by a line to commencing point, 100 links.

All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 3 acres and 12 perches, situate in the Survey District of Cambridge, being portions of Allotments Nos. 126 and 129, Parish of Pukekura ; commencing at the north-westernmost corner of Allotment No. 126. Bounded—North-easterly by a line, 3131 links; Southerly by a public road, 228 links; generally South-westerly by lines, 53 and 2900 links respectively; North-westerly by a line to commencing point, 105 links.

All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 4 acres 1 rood 3 perches, situate in the Survey District of Cambridge, being portions of Allotments Nos. 151 and 171, Parish of Pukekura ; commencing at the north-westernmost corner of Allotment No. 151. Bounded—Northerly by a line, 103 links; South-easterly by lines, 4258 and 30 links respectively; Southerly by a public road, 110 links; North-westerly by a line to commencing point, 4256 links.

All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 6 acres 3 roods 26 perches, situate in the Survey District of Cambridge, being portions of Allotments Nos. 191, 192, 225, and 205, Parish of Pukekura ; commencing at a point in the north-eastern boundary of Allotment No. 191 distant from its north-easternmost corner 520 links. Bounded—North-easterly by lines, 5120 and 1805 links respectively; Southerly by a line, 109 links; South-westerly
