EAST MALVERN ROAD DISTRICT.
"THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1882."
IT is hereby notified that it is the intention of the East Malvern Road Board to take all that piece of land, being 3 roods 15 perches, part of Rural Section No. 10075, situate in the East Malvern Road District, owned by Harry Bell Johnstone, and at present unoccupied, and tinted yellow on the plan thereof, for the purpose of making a road to connect with the South Malvern Hills Road and the road passing railway goods-shed at Sheffield. Plans of the said land will be open for inspection at the East Malvern Road Board office, Sheffield, from the 9th day of June till the 20th day of July, 1885. And the said Board hereby call upon all persons affected to set forth in writing any well-grounded objection to the execution of such work or to the taking of such land, and to send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the East Malvern Road Board, Sheffield.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between the undersigned in the business of Timber Merchants, at Wanganui, and at the branch at Patea, and also trading in copartnership with Robert Palmer, at Manai'a, as Sawmillers, in New Zealand, has been dissolved by mutual consent; and that all moneys owing to the said partnership are to be paid to the undersigned, William York, who will also discharge all sums owing to the late firm.

THE Partnership hitherto existing between the undersigned has been dissolved as on the 31st December, 1884. The business will be carried on by Mr. Edward Reeves, who will receive all moneys due to, and discharge all liabilities against, the old firm.

I, HENRY TEEVAN, Member of the Royal College of Surgeons, England, Licentiate of the Society of Apothecaries, London, now residing in Dunedin, in the Provincial District of Otago, hereby give you notice that it is my intention to apply to you, on the 5th day of July, 1885, to have my name placed on the Medical Register for the Colony of New Zealand; and that I have deposited my evidence of qualification for public inspection in the Office for the Registration of Births, Deaths, and Marriages, Dunedin.

NOTICE is hereby given, in accordance with the provisions of the above Act, that the HAMBURG MAGDEBURG FIRE INSURANCE COMPANY proposes to continue to carry on business in the following towns in New Zealand, namely, Dunedin, Invercargill, Christchurch, Port Chalmers, Wellington, Napier, Nelson, Gisborne, Blenheim, New Plymouth, and Auckland; and that the office or place of business in the colony where legal proceedings of any kind may be served upon the said company, and to which notices of any kind may be addressed, is the office of Messrs. The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
Booksellers and Advertising Agents will be allowed a commission at the rate of 5 per cent.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening in each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before two o'clock of the day preceding publication.
Communications should be addressed to the Government Printer, Wellington, to whom post office money orders should be made payable.
Postage or duty stamps cannot in any case be received in payment from any place at which post office orders are issued.
