INKERMAN QUARTZ-MINING COMPANY (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given that GEORGE WISE, of Broadway, Reefton, has been appointed Manager of the above company, in lieu of W. P. Street, resigned.
Given under the common seal of the Inkerman Quartz-Mining Company (Limited), and dated the 2nd day of May, 1885.

NOTICE.
HAVING been satisfied that mining operations cannot conveniently be carried on in the Mount Criffle portion of the Wakatipu District, in consequence of its extreme elevation, during the months of May, June, July, August, September, and October, I hereby declare that, between the 1st day of May, 1885, and the 31st day of October, 1885, all claims and mining privileges held within the Mount Criffle portion of the Wakatipu District shall be protected within the meaning of clause 91 of the regulations under “The Mines Act, 1877.”

I, ANDREW ROBY BLOXAM, Registrar of the Supreme Court for the District of Canterbury, do hereby notify that an affidavit, a copy of which is hereunder given, by William Jukes Steward, Secretary of the Waimate Times Company (Limited), has been lodged in the Resident Magistrate’s Court at Waimate, and forwarded to me; and that, unless notice of objection be lodged within sixty days of this date, I shall proceed to declare the said company to be dissolved in manner provided by “The Companies Act, 1882.”

I, William Jukes Steward, Secretary of the Waimate Times Company (Limited), incorporated under “The Companies Act, 1882,” do hereby make oath and say,—
That the nominal capital of the said company is £1,000, in one hundred shares of £10 each.
That the subscribed capital is £970, being ninety-seven shares at £10 each.
That the said shares have been fully paid up.
That the company, having sold and transferred its business and discharged all its liabilities, has no assets, and has ceased to carry on its operations.
And I, the said William Jukes Steward, do hereby apply for declaration of dissolution of such company.

NEW ZEALAND COMPANY’S LAND CLAIMANTS ORDINANCE, SECTION 11, No. 15.—CLAIM No. 1765.
I, the undersigned, a Commissioner duly appointed under the above ordinance to hear and determine claims to land in New Zealand by persons claiming through or under the said company, hereby give notice that the claim of FREDERICK BRADBY and CHARLES STUART to 10 acres, more or less, part of Section 10, Kinapori (Porirua) District, and to have a Crown grant for the same issued in the name of one RICHARD STUART, of Wellington, Milkman, has been referred to me for investigation and decision under the said ordinance, and that I have decided that the said Richard Stuart became duly entitled to the said land and to a Crown grant for the same in fee-simple as from the 6th day of January, 1851.

NEW ZEALAND COMPANY’S LAND CLAIMANTS ORDINANCE, SECTION 11, No. 15.—CLAIM No. 1761.
I, the undersigned, a Commissioner duly appointed under the above ordinance to hear and determine claims to land in New Zealand by persons claiming through or under the said company, hereby give notice that the claim of CHARLES FREDERICK HORE, of Lincoln’s Inn Fields, in the County of Middlesex, England, Barrister-at-law, as sole surviving Trustee under the will of PHILIP GOWAN, deceased, to the several lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto, has been referred to me for investigation and decision under the said ordinance, and that I have decided that the claimant is entitled to the said lands and to a Crown grant thereof for an estate in fee-simple, in trust as aforesaid, as from the 26th day of November, 1840.

ORMOND ROAD DISTRICT BOARD.
IT is hereby publicly notified that the Ormond Road District Board has taken over the control and management of the Public Pound at Ormond, known as Hogan and Currie’s Pound, by virtue of General Government Act No. 43, entitled “The Impounding Act 1884;” and, further, that WILLIAM CURRIE is appointed Poundkeeper under the said Act.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately subsisting between us, the undersigned HENRY HAYWOOD and JAMES EDWARDS, both of Wainui, in the Provincial District of Hawke’s Bay, Farmers, trading under the firm of “Haywood and Edwards,” has this day been dissolved by mutual consent; and that all debts due and owing to or by the late firm will be respectively received and paid by the said James Edwards, by whom in future the business will be carried on.
