NOTICE is hereby given that at a sitting of this Court to be held at Helensville, in the District of Kaipara, on the fourth day of June next, will be heard the applications of the persons whose names appear in the first column for the subdivision of the hereditaments comprised in the Crown grants of the pieces of land the names of which appear in the second column, situate in the district named in the third column.

And, in pursuance of the provisions of section 7 of "The Native Land Division Act, 1882," all persons having in their possession any original grant or other instrument of title relating to any of the land aforesaid are hereby ordered to produce the same at the said sitting of the Court.

Notice under "The Public Works Act, 1882."

Native Land Court Office,
Auckland, 28th April, 1885.

THE Court will, in exercise of the power given under section 23 and following sections of the said "Public Works Act, 1882," proceed to inquire and ascertain who are the persons interested in, and entitled to be paid compensation for, all those parcels of land situate in the Provincial District of Auckland, beingβ€”

All that road-line commencing at a point in the north-eastern boundary of the Waitangi Block, and continuing generally in a north-westerly direction for 5844 links to the south-western boundary of the Makarau Block, and containing by admeasurement 5 acres 3 roods 15 perches, more or less;

And again, all that road-line commencing at a point in the western boundary of the Makarau Block, and continuing generally in a north-westerly direction for 2427 links to the south-eastern boundary of the Tuhirangi Block, and containing by admeasurement 2 acres 1 rood 28 perches, more or less;

And again, all that road-line commencing at a point in the northern boundary of the Tuhirangi Block, and continuing generally in a northerly direction for 15743 links to the south-east corner of Lot 110, Parish of Komokoriki, and containing by admeasurement 15 acres 2 roods 38 perches, more or less:

Being the land mentioned in a certain Order in Council of the 2nd day of April, 1883, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 5th and subsequent days of April, on the 3rd and subsequent days of May, and on the 7th and 14th days of June, 1883, and made under the authority of the said "Public Works Act, 1882."

And also the amount of compensation which ought to be paid to the persons found to be interested and entitled as aforesaid.

The above inquiry will be made during the sitting of this Court to be opened at Helensville, Kaipara, on the 4th day of June, 1885.
