WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL.
GLENBERVIE TERRACE.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City of Wellington propose to construct a street, to be called “Glenbervie Terrace,” commencing approximately at the gate in Sydney Street of the Wellington Public Cemetery (No. 1), and the course of which proposed street runs inside and along or within a short distance (southwards) of the northern boundaries of the Wellington Public Cemetery (No. 1), the Jewish Cemetery, the Church of England Cemetery (No. 3), and the Wellington Public Cemetery (No. 5), and then partly within the Wellington Public Cemetery (No. 5) and partly on the street known as Glenbervie Terrace, as shown on the public map of the City of Wellington (but not actually laid out), until reaching the junction of such last-mentioned (but not laid out) street and the Tinakori Road.
And notice is hereby also given that the said Council propose to take, under the provisions of Part II. of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” for the purposes of the said work, a parcel of land now forming part of the Wellington Public Cemetery (No. 1), the Jewish Cemetery, the Church of England Cemetery (No. 3), and the Wellington Public Cemetery (No. 5), and bounded Northwards by the south side line of the said street shown as Glenbervie Terrace (but not laid out, as aforesaid), and containing in the whole 1 acre 3 roods and 15·6 perches.
And notice is hereby also given that four plans (three of which are numbered 44 in the office of the City Surveyor to the said Council, and the fourth of which is identified by a declaration written thereon of an authorized surveyor, under date of the 11th April, 1885) showing generally the nature of the works proposed to be executed and the lands required to be taken for the same, together with the names of the owners and occupiers of such lands, so far as they can be ascertained, have been deposited at the offices of the said Council, situate in Brandon Street, in the City of Wellington, and are open to inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours.
And notice is hereby also given that all persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of such works or to the taking of such lands, and to send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this present notice to the said Council, at its said offices.

NOTICE.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Hutt Park Railway Company (Limited) propose to construct a railway, under “The District Railways Act, 1877,” from a certain point at Petone, on the Government Railway from Wellington to Masterton, to a certain point on the west bank of the western branch of the Hutt River, where the waterworks bridge crosses it, and has caused the middle line and direction thereof to be set forth on a plan and described in a book of reference showing the lands required to be taken for the same and the names of the owners and occupiers of such lands so far as they can be ascertained ; and that copies of such plan and book of reference have been deposited for public inspection at the offices of the Petone Town Board and Hutt County Council respectively, and also at the Public Works Office, in the City of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between WILLIAM HARTNELL and WILLIAM MORGAN, both of Methven, in the Provincial District of Canterbury, carrying on business at Methven aforesaid as Butchers and Bakers, under the style or firm of “William Hartnell and Co.,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 31st day of March, 1885. The said William Morgan will receive all debts owing to and discharge all the liabilities of the late firm.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore existing between us, the undersigned GEORGE ROBERTS and JOHN MAITLAND PAXTON, carrying on business at Christchurch as Grain Merchants, under the style of “Roberts, Paxton, and Co.,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 1st day of March, 1885.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between the undersigned, HENRY JARRAT GILBERD and SIDNEY FRANCIS ANDERSON, as Nurseryman, at Taradale, Hawke’s Bay, under the firm of “Gilberd and Anderson,” has this day been dissolved by mutual consent. The business will in future be carried on by Henry Jarrat Gilberd alone, by whom all debts due by the late firm will be paid and all amounts due to the late firm will be received.

THE MANAWATU BUTTER, CHEESE, AND BACON MANUFACTURING COMPANY (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given that the shareholders of the above-named company did, on Thursday, the 9th day of April, 1885, at an extraordinary general meeting, confirm the following special resolution, which was passed at an extraordinary general meeting of the company, held on the 23rd March, 1885, viz., “That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that Mr. C. W. WALKER be appointed Liquidator.”

Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the uniform rate of 6d. per line for each insertion.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
Booksellers and Advertising Agents will be allowed a commission at the rate of 5 per cent.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening in each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before two o’clock of the day preceding publication.
Communications should be addressed to the Government Printer, Wellington, to whom post office money orders should be made payable.
Postage or duty stamps cannot in any case be received in payment from any place at which post office orders are issued.
