Mining Notices.
I, the undersigned, hereby make application to register the Blanche Gold-Mining Company as a Limited Company, under the provisions of “The Mining Companies Act, 1872.”

The name of the company is to be the Blanche Gold-Mining Company (Limited).

The place of operations is at Waiotahi, Thames, in the Provincial District of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.

MINERVA PETROLEUM COMPANY (NO LIABILITY).
NOTICE is hereby given that the situation of the Registered Office of the Minerva Petroleum Company (No Liability) is at Lowe Street Chambers, Lowe Street, Gisborne, in the Provincial District of Auckland.
The common seal of the company was hereto affixed this 27th day of March, 1885, in the presence of us, two of the Directors of the said company.

MOUNT PEEL ROAD BOARD.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Mount Peel Road Board intend to take, under the provisions contained in the “Public Works Act, 1882,” the several pieces of land described in the Schedule hereto for road purposes.
The plans and a general description of the same can be inspected at the office of the Road Board at Peel Forest; and all persons affected are requested to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections they may have to the execution of such work or to the taking of such lands, and to send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Chairman of the above-named Road Board.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece of land in the Tengawai Survey District, containing one acre and thirty-eight perches, of a width of one chain, commencing at the end of the Government road at the north-western boundary of Section 27813, and running north-westerly through Section 19994 to the Opihi River.
All that piece of land in the Opuha Survey District, containing thirty-nine acres and thirty-one perches, one chain wide, commencing at the end of Government road at the south-west corner of Section 20949, extending generally in a north-easterly direction through that section and Sections 28376, 28377, 28901, 20939, 25227, 20938, 28432, and 29908 to the north branch of the Opuha River.
All that piece of land in the Orari Survey District, containing six acres two roods and sixteen perches, one chain wide, commencing at the south-eastern corner of Section 9864, continuing westerly through that section and Section 9865, north-easterly through Section 16711, and westerly between Section 24966 and Section 16711, and joining the old road at the western boundary of the latter section.

In the matter of a Bill to enable the Napier Gas Company (Limited) to supply the Town of Hastings and surrounding Districts with Gas, and to be intituled “The Napier Gas Company’s Act 1875 Amendment Act, 1885.”
NOTICE is hereby given that application is intended to be made to the General Assembly of New Zealand, by the Napier Gas Company (Limited), to bring in a Bill amending “The Napier Gas Company’s Act, 1875,” to authorize the Napier Gas Company (Limited) to supply the Town of Hastings and the surrounding districts with gas, and to grant to the said company the following powers and authorities, that is to say,—

To open and break up, under the superintendence of the persons having the control of the same, the soil and pavements, streets and roads, within the Town of Hastings and the surrounding districts; to break up bridge-sewers, drains, or sewers; and to erect pillars and lamps; and to lay down and place pipes, conduits, service-pipes; and to make and to do other works necessary or expedient for supplying gas to the Town of Hastings and the surrounding districts as aforesaid.

To contract with the Hastings Town Board, or with any other corporation, person, or persons therein, or within the surrounding districts, for supplying gas or letting meters to them or any of them.

To enter upon buildings to ascertain the quantities of gas consumed.
-
To levy tolls or rents for gas consumed, and to sue for the recovery of rents for gas supplied; and to cut off and take away the supply of gas, and to enter upon buildings and take away gas-pipes, on non-payment of such tolls or rents; and to impose penalties for the wilful destruction of the company’s property.

To erect gasworks within the Town of Hastings and its suburbs, and holders within the surrounding districts.

The limits within which it is intended that the said gasworks shall be erected shall be as follows: All lands lying within a radius of ten miles from the north-eastern corner of Section two hundred and twenty, South Hastings.
It is also proposed to erect works for the making and supplying of gas upon Sections two hundred and twenty, two hundred and twenty-one, two hundred and twenty-two, and two hundred and twenty-three, South Hastings.
Copies of the proposed Bill will be deposited in the office of the Examiner of Standing Orders on or before the commencement of the session.
