Defining the Purpose of a Reserve.

WHEREAS by clause five of the “Public Reserves Act, 1881,” it is enacted that if there shall, in the opinion of the Governor, be any doubt or uncertainty as to the purpose for which such reserve was set apart, the Governor may, by notice gazetted, define such purpose or purposes as to either the whole or any part of such reserve:
Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby define the purpose of the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto to be for a site for a pound and a gravel-pit.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Suburban North District, Provincial District of Nelson, containing 5 acres, more or less. Bounded on the North by a public road; on the East by part of Rural Section No. 3; on the South by waste lands of the Crown; and on the West by Section No. 57.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this first day of January, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five.
