Crown Lands for Sale, Napier.

NORSEWOOD VILLAGE SETTLEMENTS.—FOR SALE FOR CASH.

Crown Lands Office,
Napier, 10th December, 1884.

NOTICE is hereby given that the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereunder have been set apart for sale for cash, on village-settlement conditions, and that Wednesday, the 7th January next, has been appointed the day on which applications will be received at this office.

In event of more than one application being received for any section, the right to purchase it will be decided at this office at 4 p.m. on the same day.

Plans and further particulars can be obtained on application.

Description: The lands included in the village are situated on rising and level ground in the centre of the Norsewood Settlement, about three miles from the railway-station at Ormondville. The forest has been cleared on the sections fronting the main roads. The Norsewood Schoolhouse is in the centre of the village.

Postponement of Sale of Section No. 35567, in the County of Waimate.

I HEREBY give notice that the sale of the above section, containing 15 acres 3 roods of land, adjoining Sections Nos, 19175 and 20542 and Elephant Hill Creek, is postponed to the 24th March, 1885, on which day it will be submitted to public auction, at the Courthouse, Waimate, at 12 o’clock noon.

NOTICE is hereby given that Section 8, Block III., Centre Hill District, having been withdrawn from sale on deferred payments, will be open for application, as ordinary rural land, at £1 per acre, at the Land Office, Invercargill, on Wednesday, the 21st February, 1885.
