THE following Notices to Mariners, received from the Portmaster, Brisbane, are published for general information.

ADDITIONAL BEACONS AND LIGHTS, PIONEER RIVER.

NOTICE is hereby given that two additional leading beacons are now placed on East Point, from which lights are exhibited at night. These, when in line, lead through the deepest water over the Flats at the lower end of the Town Reach.

The black buoy has also been replaced by a buoy painted red, which must be passed on the starboard side.

NEW LIGHT, DOUBLE ISLAND POINT.

NOTICE is hereby given that towards the latter end of August it is intended to exhibit from the highest part of Double Island Point a third-order revolving light.

The interval between the flashes will be thirty seconds, and the light, which will stand at an elevation of 335 feet, will be visible from a distance of twenty-five miles.
