A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the twentieth section of “The Land Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1879,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the land described in the Schedule hereto for sale as a village settlement, upon the terms and conditions set forth in an Order in Council to be made under the twenty-first section of the said Act.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fiftieth section of “The Land Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1882,” and of every other power and authority enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby declare that the block of land enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of sections three to forty-eight of “The Land Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1882.”

SCHEDULE.

ALL that piece or parcel of land containing 5,000 acres, more or less, situated in the Kanieri, Mahinapua, Toaroha, and Totara Survey Districts. Bounded on the West and North by Sections Nos. 1152, 2083, 2171, 2091, 2090, and 2162, by Kokatahi Homestead Block, and Hokitika Flat Road; and on the East and South by Reserve No. 163, Sections Nos. 2015 and 1611, and by the Hokitika River: subject to necessary reserves, and all existing rights under the Mines Acts.
