Notifying Issue of Writs, Date of Polling, &c.

Clerk of the Writs’ Office,
Wellington, 27th June, 1884.

IN pursuance of a warrant under the hand of His Excellency the Governor, dated the 27th day of June instant, directed to me as Clerk of the Writs, I have this day issued writs to all Returning Officers commanding them to proceed to the election of members of the House of Representatives; and have fixed Tuesday, the 22nd day of July next, as the day upon which the poll for such elections shall (if necessary) be taken, and Wednesday, the sixth day of August next, as the day on or before which the said writs shall be returnable to me.
