EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING.
NOTICE is hereby given that an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Shareholders of the above company will be held at the rooms of the Canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Association, Hereford Street, Christchurch, on Saturday, the 17th day of May, 1884, at 11 a.m.
Business: To confirm the following resolution, passed at the annual general meeting, held on the 26th April last:—
“ That the company be voluntarily wound up; and that Messrs. F. Waymouth, J. P. Jameson, C. Kiver, and J. G. Ruddenklau be Liquidators, at a remuneration of 5 per cent.”

GUTHRIE AND LARNACH’S NEW ZEALAND TIMBER AND WOODWARE FACTORIES COMPANY (LIMITED), IN LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of section 109 of “The Joint-Stock Companies Act, 1864,” a General Meeting of the Shareholders of the above-named company will be held at the Liquidator’s office, South Princes Street, Dunedin, on Monday, the 16th day of June next, at 3 o’clock p.m., for the purpose of considering the account made up by the Liquidators pursuant to the said section, showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and for the purpose of passing a resolution that the affairs of the company have been fairly wound up.

MACKENZIE COUNTY.
PURSUANT to the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” it is hereby publicly notified that the Mackenzie County Council require the land described hereunder for the purposes of the Main Mackenzie Country Road diversion between Albury and Rocky Gully. A plan and description of the same will be open for public inspection at the County Office, Burke’s Pass, at all reasonable hours for a period of forty days from date hereof.
All persons affected by the taking of said land are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections thereto, and to serve the same on the County Clerk at Burke’s Pass not later than the 30th June.
Description of Land: All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 4 acres 3 roods 30½ perches, more or less, being portion of Reserve No. 1214, the property of Thomas Shepherd, in the Provincial District of Canterbury. Bounded as follows: North-west by Reserve No. 1213, 103½ links; South-west by the boundary-line of the Timaru-Fairlie Creek Railway, 4950 links; South-east by Rocky Gully Creek, 103 links; North-east by a line parallel to the boundary of said railway distant 100 links therefrom, 4930 links, to boundary-line between Reserves Nos. 1213 and 1214.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
THE Partnership hitherto existing between us, the undersigned, as Storekeepers at Waipori, has this day been dissolved by mutual consent. The business will in future be carried on under the style or title of “F. W.
