SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Otago, situate in Block II., Chatton Survey District, and known as the Township Reserve, containing 239 acres 3 roods 36 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General in Her Majesty's Army, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Auckland, this twenty-first day of April, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four.

Land set apart on Deferred Payments in Otago.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by the fifty-third section of “The Land Act, 1877,” it is enacted that the Governor, by Proclamation in the Gazette, may from time to time set apart out of any suburban or rural lands such blocks or allotments of land as he shall think fit, and set the same aside for sale on deferred payments, and in such Proclamation may fix a day on which the land shall be open for application; and that he may also in like manner set apart for sale on deferred payments such blocks or allotments as may be recommended by any Land Board, and may also from time to time alter, amend, or revoke any such Proclamation:
And whereas the Land Board of Otago did, on the third day of April, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four, pass a resolution recommending that the land described in the Schedule hereto annexed should be set apart for sale on deferred payments:
And whereas it is expedient to give effect to the aforesaid recommendation, and to set apart the said land accordingly:
Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the above-named Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is set apart for sale on deferred payments; and that Wednesday, the fourth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four, shall be the day on which the said land shall be open for application, in allotments as surveyed and marked on the selection map in the principal land office of the district.
And, further, in pursuance of the fifth section of “The Land Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1879,” I do hereby fix the price at which the land so described shall be sold to be the price stated in the Schedule hereto.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fiftieth section of “The Land Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1882,” and of every other power and authority enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby declare that the sections of land described in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of sections three to forty-eight of “The Land Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1882.”

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the twentieth section of “The Land Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1879,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the land described in the Schedule hereto for sale as a village settlement, upon such terms and conditions as are set forth in an Order in Council bearing even date herewith, and made under the twenty-first section of the said Act.
