Notice under “The Native Land Laws Amendment Act, 1883.”
WHEREAS the estate and interest of Te Kirimangu and Te Amo te Kehu, aboriginal natives of New Zealand, in the land described in the Schedule hereto, is vested in Rihari Uru te Angina and Aromona te Whio, as Trustees under the provisions of “The Maori Real Estate Management Act, 1867,” and the several amendments thereof, subject to certain restrictions on the alienation of such land, and application has been made for the removal of such restrictions:
It is hereby notified that it is intended, immediately after the expiration of sixty days from the publication of this notice in the Gazette and in the Kahiti, to remove the said restrictions on the alienation of the said land in respect of the interests aforesaid, in order that the said lands may be leased by the said Trustees for a term of twenty-one years.
Dated at Wellington, this fifth day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece of land containing by admeasurement 91 acres and 16 perches, more or less, situate at Waitotara, in the Provincial District of Wellington, on the left bank of the Waitotara River, and being part of the block of land known as the Kaipo Native Reserve, and being part of the Section numbered 80 on the plan of the Waitotara District.

IN compliance with the provisions of the 61st section of “The Regulation of Elections Act, 1881,” I hereby notify that
ISAAC WILSON, Esq.,
has resigned his seat in the House of Representatives for the Electoral District of Kaiapoi, and that his letter of resignation was received by me on the 7th day of April, 1884, and that the said seat is vacant by reason of such resignation.

IN exercise of the powers in me vested by “The Sheriffs Act, 1883,” I, Alexander James Johnston, Esquire, Acting Chief Justice for the time being of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, hereby fix and declare the sums specified in the Schedule hereto to be the fees and poundage to be paid and taken by any Sheriff, Deputy Sheriff, Sheriff’s Officer, Bailiff, or other person employed under any Sheriff or Deputy Sheriff, upon any proceedings in the Supreme Court, or otherwise in respect of his office or employment.
