NOTICE.
Native Land Court,
Gisborne, 4th April, 1884.
Notice of Inquiry under Section 15 of “The Native Lands Act, 1869.”
WHEREAS certain persons, being some of the grantees of a parcel of land known as Kaokoroa, situate in the Provincial District of Hawke’s Bay, have heretofore signed and executed a certain deed purporting to be a deed of conveyance of parts, shares, estates, or interests of certain of the said grantees of and in the said land; and whereas disputes have arisen as to the value of the land, the subject of such deed, or of the estates or interests thereon or thereto of the said grantees; and whereas the persons named in the first column hereunder have severally applied to the Native Land Court to have such value ascertained so far as relates to the estate or interest of the persons named in the second column and to the deed named in the third column hereunder, as provided in the 15th section of “The Native Lands Act, 1869:”
Notice is hereby given that on Wednesday, the twenty-third day of April, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, at the Supreme Courthouse at Napier, the Native Land Court will take such proceedings and make such order upon the said application as is mentioned or provided by the said section, or will refuse to make any order, or will dismiss such application.
