Notice of Times and Places for Investigating Claims

NOTICE is hereby given that the claims on behalf of themselves and others, of the several persons whose names are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written, to the several blocks of land of which the names and localities are mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of which are published in the third column, will be investigated at Whanganui, on the 22nd day of April next, and following days.

The maps of such of these lands as have been surveyed, can be seen at the Office of the Registrar of the Native Land Court, Whanganui.

SCHEDULE.

No.	Names of Claimants.	Name and Locality of Block.	Boundaries.
1	Wirihana Ngamanako, Epiha Taika, Eruera Taika, Huna Te Iki	Otamane, near Whangaehu	Commences at Wakaikura, runs to Ohikaiate Stream and Whangaehu Stream, and comes up to the boundary of Heao.
2	Mita Karaka Tapa, Hone Hira Te Wharetiti, and Miriama Heirangi	Kauangaroa, near Whangaehu	Te Wharauha and Te Hoki are the names, about two acres, cannot describe the lines.
3	Hare Reweti, Rakapa Reweti, Katene Whanga, Heretini and others.	Ohinepuhiawe, near Rangitikei, Bulls' Town	Boundaries commence at Rangitikei River and run towards the East, turn and run towards the South, turn and run towards the West and the Rangitikei River, along in that river and come up to the commencement about 385 acres.
4	Kumi Pihopa, Hipirini Pihopa, Te Herewini, and Mataitaua	Kaipo	Commences at the big bridge of Waitotara and comes up to Potikiarehua, where it turns and runs to a small tributary of the Waitotara, and comes back again to the bridge
5	Peeti Te Rangiirunga, Henare Tumango, Te Kiri Tahangia, and Hare Te Apa	Te Kahakaha	Commences at Whauteihi, goes in the Whanganui River, Takapou, Te Rewa Stream, goes in that river to Norutuuku, Wharariki, Papakaramu, Ngaputaka, and in that stream to Pariangeange to the Upokongaro, along in that stream to the boundary of Karewarewa and Whauteihi and the commencing point.
6	Ripeka Tauri, Raimapaha, Reneti Tapa and others	Kaira	Commences at Mataikai and goes in the Whanganui River, Waikiekie, Te Rongo-o-Te Manu, Te Ipu, turns to Takapo to the Kaiwha Stream and runs in that stream to Kauarapaoa, goes along in the Kauarapaoa Stream, Te Kaupapa, Tuporo, Kaikatoa, Totara, and comes to the commencement, Mataikai.
7	Piripi Te Aokapurangi, Hakaraia Korako, Reneti Tapa, Mere Ngureta and Rota Te Huia Kapa	Maungakaretu	On the side towards the South are the Ngatokorangi and Ohaumoko Blocks, on the sides towards the East and the North are the Turakina River and the Otairi and Ruanui Blocks, on the East is a survey line commencing at Bereomaru and going to Pouti and Pikopiko River, along in that river to the Nokoupo River, and on the side towards the West and North the last-named river the Whangaehu River and Ngamatawhitia and Mangamahu Blocks.
