DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

THE Partnership hitherto existing between the under-signed ELISHA LOCKINGTON and JOSEPH ADAMSON, under the style of “Lockington and Adamson,” has been this day dissolved by mutual consent.

The debts owing to the late firm will be collected by the said Elisha Lockington, and the liabilities of the late firm will be discharged by the said Joseph Adamson.

ADOPTION OF SURNAME.—I, CLARENCE KAY MEREDITH, of Riversdale, Whareama, in the Province of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand, Settler, now temporarily residing at Melbourne, in the Colony of Victoria, do hereby give notice that I have assumed, taken, and adopted the surname of Kaye in addition to the name of Clarence Kay Meredith, and that henceforth I shall be known by the name of CLARENCE KAY MEREDITH-KAYE, and shall use that name only in all transactions, contracts, deeds, documents, and writings, and in all legal and other proceedings, dealings, matters, and things whatsoever.

Dated at Melbourne aforesaid, the twenty-sixth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four.

I, WALTER FELL, Bachelor of Medicine of the University of Oxford, Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and Licentiate of the Royal College of Physicians of London, now residing in Wellington, hereby give you notice that it is my intention to apply to you, on the 10th day of April next, to have my name placed on the Medical Register for the Colony of New Zealand; and that I have deposited my evidence of qualification for public inspection in the office of the Registrar-General of the colony, at Wellington.

BOROUGH OF CAVERSHAM.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Borough Council of Caversham intends to take, for the purpose of extending the Wilkie Road from its present terminus to the St. Kilda Road, all that piece or parcel of land being part of Section 12, Block VII., Town District. Bounded on the North by the other part of Section 12, 550 links; on the East by the St. Kilda Road, 100 links; on the South by the Southern Trunk Railway, 550 links; and on the West by Wilkie Road, 100 links: and that a plan showing such extension is open for inspection during office hours at the Council Chambers, Caversham.

Notice is further given that any person having any objections to the execution of such work, or to the taking of such land, must send such objection in writing to the said Council on or before Saturday, the 19th day of April, 1884.

PARIHAKA ROAD BOARD.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Parihaka Road intend to take, under “The Public Works Act, 1882,” for the purpose of making a public road, all that piece or parcel of land, containing by admeasurement 8 acres 3 roods 24 perches, more or less, situate in the Survey District of Opunake, Provincial District of Taranaki, being portions of Sections Nos. 35 and 36, Block IX; commencing at the south-eastern corner of Section No. 29 (suburban), Township of Opunake. Bounded generally Northerly by a line; 8896·6 links; thence North-easterly by a road, 100·8 links; thence Southerly by a line 8835·4 links, and a line 66·9 links; thence Westerly By the south-western boundary of Section No. 35, 126 links, to commencing point. And notice is hereby given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited for inspection at the Board’s office, Rahotu. And notice is hereby further given that all persons affected by the taking of the said land are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the taking of the said land, and to send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the office of the said Parihaka Road Board, Rahotu.
