Timber from Helensville to Auckland Station will be charged 1s. 6d. per 100 superficial feet, including wharfage at Helensville, exclusive of loading or unloading. Skidding kauri logs at Auckland, 1½d. per 100 superficial feet.
Consignees shall take delivery of logs at Auckland in the harbour within the booms.
HELENSVILLE.
Loading kauri logs at Helensville timber slip will be charged 4½d. per 100 superficial feet.
Preserved fish, tinned or dried, consigned from Helensville will be charged as Class D.
DEMURRAGE ON COAL TRUCKS.
A charge for demurrage on trucks employed in the conveyance of coals for shipment at Onehunga and Auckland will be made as follows, viz.: After 6 working hours from arrival and up to 8 working hours, 5s. per truck; and after 8 working hours the ordinary charge of 10s. per day; or the coal will be unloaded and stored at the usual rates for unloading and storage, at the option of the Department.
CLASS E.
Goods of Class E will be charged rate and a quarter, except when consigned to Auckland or Onehunga, or except provided otherwise by local rates.
CLASS P.—NATIVE COAL.
Coal from Huntly and Taupiri to Stations between Auckland and Onehunga, inclusive, will be charged 7s. 6d. per ton; from Meremere to Stations between Auckland and Onehunga, inclusive, will be charged 5s. 6d. per ton, and from Mercer to Stations between Auckland and Onehunga, inclusive, will be charged 5s. 2d. per ton in full wagon loads.
CLASS P.
Goods of Class P will be charged as Class N, except otherwise specified.
RAILWAY WHARF, AUCKLAND.
Haulage upon all descriptions of merchandise, timber, minerals, or live stock, s. d. at per wagon, except for native coal, which is hauled free ... ... 2 6
TIMBER, MERCER TO AUCKLAND.
Timber from Mercer to Auckland will be charged 1s. 9d. per 100 superficial feet, including wharfage at Mercer, exclusive of loading or unloading.
RAILWAY SLEEPERS.
Railway sleepers consigned from Auckland Railway Wharf to the Hamilton Branch Stations will be charged £2 14s. per 100 small sleepers.
NAPIER SECTION.
SHIPS’ GOODS.
Goods of Classes A, B, C, D, E, H, between Spit and Napier, will be charged 2s. 6d. per ton, by weight or measurement, according to ship’s bill of lading, or at the option of the Department.
CLASS K.—TIMBER.
Timber consigned from saw-mills to Spit to vessels for shipment will be charged 3d. per 100 superficial feet less than the classified rates; minimum charge, 8d. per 100 superficial feet.
White-pine timber consigned to Spit for shipment direct to Australian ports, and round logs consigned to the Spit, will be charged at the same rates as white-pine, Wellington Section.
Consignments of white-pine for Australian ports not made direct to the export ship will be charged the same rate, upon a statutory declaration to that effect being furnished, such declaration being made under “The Justices of the Peace Act, 1882,” sections 233 and 234, in the form prescribed.
CLASS. D.
Goods of Class D will be charged as Class C.
CLASS E.
Goods of Class E will be charged rate and a quarter.
CLASS P.
Goods of Class P will be charged as Class N.
WELLINGTON SECTION.
CLASS K.—TIMBER.
Timber consigned from saw-mills to Wellington to vessels for shipment will be charged 3d. per 100 superficial feet less than the classified rates.
White-pine timber consigned to Wellington for shipment direct to Australian ports will be charged as follows:—
8d. per 100 superficial feet for all distances from 1 to 20 miles inclusive, and at the following rates per 100 superficial feet for distances beyond:—
