THE Partnership hitherto existing between RICHARD MAY MORTEN and WILLIAM WHITE, as Sheepfarmers, at Mount Pleasant, in the Provincial District of Canterbury, has this day been dissolved by mutual consent.

THE WELLINGTON AND MANAWATU RAILWAY COMPANY (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington and Manawatu Railway Company (Limited) are constructing a railway under “The Land and Railways Construction Act, 1881,” and have, in terms of the 18th clause of the said Act, deposited for public inspection in the Public Works Office and the office of the company, in Wellington, and in the Post Office, Pahautanui, a plan setting forth the middle line and direction of the railway, and a book of reference showing the lands required to be taken for the portion of the railway, commencing at a point marked 21 miles 58 chains, Section No. 3, Pukerua, and terminating at a point marked 26 miles 20 chains, Section 10, Paikakariki, and the names of the owners and occupiers of such lands as far as can be ascertained.

NEW ZEALAND TITANIC STEEL AND IRON COMPANY (LIMITED), IN LIQUIDATION.
A GENERAL Meeting of the Shareholders of the above company will be held at the Chamber of Commerce, Lambton Quay, on Saturday, the 29th day of March next, at half-past 7 o’clock p.m., for the purpose of considering the liquidation accounts of the company, and, if satisfied therewith that the affairs have been fairly wound up, of passing a resolution to that effect.

HEATHCOTE ROAD BOARD.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Heathcote Road Board intend to take, under “The Public Works Act, 1882,” for the purpose of widening a public road or highway,—
All that parcel of land, containing by admeasurement 17 perches or thereabouts, be the same more or less, being part of Rural Section 813 on the official plan of the Christchurch Survey District, commencing at a point being the south-eastern corner of Section 24051; thence south-easterly and in a straight line with a bearing of 167° 59′ to a point, being a distance of 63 links; thence south-easterly and in a straight line with a bearing of 115° 31′ 30″ to a point, being a distance of 190·8 links; thence northerly and in a straight line with a bearing of 25° 31′ 30″ to a point on the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 813, being a distance of 50 links; thence north-westerly and in a straight line with a bearing of 295° 31′ 30″ along the north-eastern boundary aforesaid to the commencing point, being a distance of 229·2 links.
Also all that parcel of land, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 15 perches or thereabouts, be the same more or less, being part of Sections Nos. 813, 241, 82, and 2115 on the official plan of the Christchurch District, commencing at a point on the north-east boundary of Section 813 distant from the southernmost corner of Section 24051 229·2 links measured south-easterly, and in a straight line with a bearing of 115° 31′ 30″ along the said north-eastern boundary; thence in a continuation of the same line along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 813, 241, and the northernmost boundary of Section 82 to a point being a distance of 2224·6 links; thence south-easterly and in a straight line with a bearing of 96° 37′ along the northernmost boundary of Section 82 to a point, being a distance of 501·5 links; thence north-easterly and in a straight line with a bearing of 81° 30′ to a point on the aforesaid northernmost boundary of Section 82, being a distance of 538·2 links; thence north-easterly and in a straight line with a bearing of 56° 19′ along the northernmost boundary of Section 82 and the north-western boundary of Section 2115 to a point, being a distance of 812·7 links; thence south-westerly and north-westerly and in straight lines with bearings of 232° 41′, 261° 30′, 276° 37′, · 295° 31′ 30″, and distances of 824·1, 557·7, 516·5, 2232·9 links, through Sections 2115, 82, 241, and 83, to a point within the latter section; thence north-easterly and
in a straight line with a bearing of 25° 31′ 30″ to the commencing point, being a distance of 50 links.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited for inspection at the store of Mrs. Cook, Ferry Road.
And notice is hereby given that all persons affected by the taking of the said lands are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the taking of the said lands, and to send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the office of the said Heathcote Road Board, Ferry Road.
