NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels of land hereinafter described will be brought under the provisions of “The Land Transfer Act, 1870,” unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same in each case on or before the 31st day of March next.

MICHAEL BROWNE.—Parts Lots 14 and 15 of Section 42, City of Auckland, containing 23 perches. In the occupation of Mr. Andrew Dunn. 2143.

Mining Notices.

To the Mining Registrar at Ahaura of the Nelson South-West Gold Fields District, and all other persons whom it may concern.

TAKE notice that it is intended to use a Water-race, constructed by us, held under Certificate No. 28661, and divert water for irrigation purposes, commencing in Callaghan’s Creek, at the junction of our branch race, registered under Certificate 8933, with our said race, No. 28661, and terminating at a point in Callaghan’s Creek known as the Bluff. The length of such race so to be used for irrigation purposes is 600 yards or thereabouts, and its intended course is north-westerly. The mean depth of such race is 2 feet, and the mean breadth 2 feet, and it is proposed to divert four Government-heads of water from our registered race, No. 28661, at the aforesaid point of intersection of the said race with our branch race, No. 8933. Estimated cost, £12. Estimated time to construct, one month. The time for which this license is required is fifteen years.
