The first year's rent, with license fee, to be paid on fall of hammer, either by cheque marked by banker or in cash, and thereafter by half-yearly payments (in advance) on the 1st March and 1st September in each year. Valuation for improvements (if any), which shall in no case exceed three times the amount of the average annual rent paid under the existing leases, is to be paid to the Receiver of Land Revenue, Dunedin, one month before getting possession, in pursuance of sections 115 to 117 of "The Land Act, 1877."
