SUBDIVISION OF HEREDITAMENTS.

Auckland, 10th January, 1884.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a sitting of this Court, to be held at Maketu, in the district of Bay of Plenty, on the 7th day of February next, will be heard the applications of the persons whose names appear in the first column for the subdivision of the hereditaments comprised in the Crown grants of the pieces of land the names of which appear in the second column, situate in the districts named in the third column.

And, in pursuance of the provisions of section 7 of “The Native Land Division Act, 1882,” all persons having in their possession any original grant, or other instrument of title, relating to any of the lands aforesaid, are hereby ordered to produce the same at the said sitting of the Court.

HE Panuitanga tenei kia mohiotia ai, ko a te nohoanga o tenei Kooti ki Maketu, i te Takiwa o Pei o Pereti, a te 7 o nga ra o Pepuere, 1884, te whakarangona ai te tono a nga tangata e mau nei o ratou ingoa i te rarangi tuatahi, kia wahia, kia roherohea te whenua i roto i te Karauna Karaati e mau nei te ingoa i te rarangi tuarua, ko te Takiwa kei te rarangi tuatoru.

IN THE NATIVE LAND COURT NEW ZEALAND, DISTRICT OF BAY OF PLENTY.

IN the matter of a decision of the Court given at Maketu, in the said district, on the 8th day of May, 1883, upon the hearing of a claim for investigation of title to land situate in the said district, and known as “Pukaingataru”; and in the matter of the several applications made to this Court in writing within three months after such decision was given, by Natives thinking themselves aggrieved thereby, for a rehearing upon the aforesaid claim:

I, John Edwin Macdonald, Chief Judge of the said Court, in exercise of the authority in that behalf vested in me, do hereby order that a rehearing upon such claim be had on the 7th day of February next, at a sitting of the Court to be then held at Maketu, in the said district.

I RUNGA i tetahi Whakataunga a te Kooti i tu nei ki Maketu, i taua Takiwa ano, i te 8 o nga ra o Mei, 1883, i runga hoki i te whakaturanga o tetahi kereeme mo te whakawakanga take o nga tangata ki tetahi pihi whenua i roto i taua Takiwa ko Te Pukaingataru te ingoa.

I runga hoki i etahi tono whakawa tuarua i tuhituhia mai nei ki tenei Kooti i roto i nga marama e toru i muri mai i taua whakataunga a te Kooti, he whakaaro ki to ratou mate i tuhia mai ai e aua tangata Maori kia whakawakia tuaruatia ano taua kereeme.

Na, ko ahau, ko Hone Eruini Maketanara te Tumuaki Kaiwhakawa o taua Kooti i runga i te mana kua tukua mai nei ki ahau mo taua mahi, ka whakahau atu nei kia whakawakia tuaruatia ano taua kereeme, a tetahi tuunga o te Kooti ki Maketu ki roto i taua Takiwa, a te 7 o nga ra o Pepuere, 1884.
