Gold-Mining Lease to be granted.
IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of “The Mines Act, 1877,” and with the regulations made under that Act for the granting of leases for gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant a lease of Crown lands for gold-mining purposes to the applicant specified in the annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objections against such lease.
Objections to the granting of such lease, stating the grounds of objection, must be made in writing, and lodged with the Warden at Queenstown on or before the 13th day of January, 1885.
Copy of the application made and plan annexed may be seen at the Warden’s Office at Queenstown.
SCHEDULE.
APPLICANT: Ebenezer Gibb. Style under which it is intended to conduct the business: “Roderick McAlpine Company.” 4 acres, at Skipper’s, in the Wakatipu Mining District.

NOTICE is hereby given that the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereunder have been set apart for sale for cash, on village-settlement conditions, and that Wednesday, the 14th January, 1885, has been appointed the day on which applications will be received at this office.
In event of more than one application being received for any section, the right to purchase it will be decided at this office at 4 p.m. on the same day.
