Private Advertisements.
THE Rangiaohia Road District Board hereby give notice of their intention, under the provisions contained in “The Public Works Act 1882 Amendment Act, 1883,” to close the road between Allotments Nos. 52 and 268, Parish of Mangipiko. Plans and full description of the above road to be closed can be seen at the office of the Board, Te Awamutu, for eight weeks.

ROAD CLOSED UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT.
ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 2 roods 5 perches, more or less, situated in the Parish of Ngaroto, in the Rangiaohia Road District, and being a road-line, 100 links wide, lying to the south of Section No. 268; commencing at the south-western angle of Section No. 268 aforesaid. Bounded towards the North by a line, 3505 links; towards the North-east by a road-line, 123 links; towards the South by a line, 3570 links; and towards the West by a line, 104 links, to the commencing point: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No. 2027, deposited in the Survey Office, at Auckland.

I, ALFRED COLEMAN, late of London, England, Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, Licentiate of Midwifery of the same, and Licentiate of the Royal College of Physicians of London, hereby give notice that I have deposited with the Registrar of the Nelson District the necessary proofs of my having obtained the above degrees in surgery and medicine, and intend to apply to be registered under the New Zealand Medical Act in one month from the date hereof.

NOTICE is hereby given that, at a meeting of shareholders in the New Zealand Leather Manufacturing Company (Limited), held on Friday, the 14th day of November instant, the following extraordinary resolution was carried:—
“That it has been proved to their satisfaction that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same; and that it be wound up voluntarily.”

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of £2 per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the uniform rate of 6d. per line for each insertion.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
Booksellers and Advertising Agents will be allowed a commission at the rate of 5 per cent.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening in each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before two o’clock of the day preceding publication.
Communications should be addressed to the Government Printer, Wellington, to whom post office money orders should be made payable.
Postage or duty stamps cannot in any case be received in payment from any place at which post office orders are issued. NO ADVERTISEMENT WILL BE INSERTED WITHOUT PREPAYMENT BEING MADE.

GIVING the Names, Addresses, and Occupations of Owners of Land within the Colony, together with the Area and Value in Counties, and the Value in Boroughs and Town Districts, compiled from the Assessment Rolls of the Property-Tax Department as at the 1st October, 1882.
The names of Freeholders are printed in alphabetical order; and all land owned by them, in whatever part of the colony, appears opposite their respective names, thus enabling the total capital value of each person’s freehold property to be seen at a glance.
The book also contains a Return of the Lands held by Banks, Insurance Companies, and Companies registered as Corporations with Limited Liability.
As a Directory the book will be found of great value, as it contains the most complete and reliable information, and includes the names of over 71,000 colonists.
The book can be obtained at the Government Stationery Store, Wellington.
