NOTE.—The upset rentals of the above leases have been reduced since last offered.

No. 8, about 10,540 acres, Wakatipu. Fourteen years; upset, £50 per annum.

Nos. 11, 12, 13, and 15 (grouped), about 59,910 acres, Wakatipu. Twenty-one years; upset, £50 per annum.

No. 359, about 19,300 acres, Nokomai. Ten years; upset, £10 per annum.

No. 427, about 3,200 acres, Waiau River. Ten years; upset, £25 per annum.

No. 444, about 9,800 acres, Matukituki. Ten years; upset, £5 per annum.

No. 445, about 15,080 acres, Hawkduu. Fourteen years; upset, £10 per annum.

NOTE.—The upset rentals of Nos. 6, 11, 12, 13, and 15 (grouped), and 445, have been reduced.

N.B.—The leases of the foregoing runs will be sold subject to the general provisions as to runs specified in “The Land Act, 1877,” and amendments of same. Possession on day of sale, except Runs 8 and 10, the leases of which do not expire until the 1st March, 1885, when possession will be given. The highest rental to be paid for the grouped runs for twenty-one years will be that payable for the first seven years of the license; for the second seven years, double that amount; and for the third seven years, treble.

Full particulars will be given in Daily Times every Wednesday and Saturday, and in Witness every Saturday; also by handbills, to be had at the District Land Offices, Railway Stations, Police Stations, Post Offices, and at the Crown Lands Office, Dunedin.

NOTICE is hereby given, in terms of section 137 of “The Land Act, 1877,” to the under-mentioned occupiers of runs, that the same are liable to forfeiture, and if the rent, together with the full amount of penalty, be not paid within three months from date the runs will be declared forfeited:—

NOTICE is hereby given that the under-mentioned sections which have been withheld from sale will be open for application on deferred payments three months hence, in terms of clause 153 of “The Land Act, 1877,” namely:—

Block I., Seaward Bush Township: Section No. 26, 1 acre 3 roods 8 perches; Section No. 36, 5 acres; Section No. 59, 5 acres; Section No. 63, 4 acres 2 roods; Section No. 67, 2 acres 1 rood; Section No. 67A, 2 acres 1 rood; Section No. 68, 2 acres 1 rood; and Section No. 68A, 2 acres 1 rood.

Section No. 52, Block XIV., Jacob’s River Hundred, 32 acres 2 roods 21 perches, which has also been withheld from sale, will be sold by public auction for cash.

LEASE No. 306, HERBERT PRYCE JONES to ROBERT LANKSHEAR, of Section 12, Township of Sandon.—Evidence having been given to my satisfaction of the loss of the outstanding duplicate of the above lease, and that the same has not been deposited as security for any loan, I give notice that I shall dispense with the production thereof for the purpose of registering a surrender of the said lease unless caveat be entered within fourteen days from publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
