ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this fourth day of November, 1884.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance of the powers vested in him by the two hundred and eleventh section of \"The Counties Act, 1876,\" His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby extend the time appointed for holding the elections for the ensuing three years of the Councils of the counties mentioned in the Schedule hereto from the second Wednesday in November, 1884, to the dates set opposite to the name of each county respectively.

THE following special order, made by the Piako County Council, is published in accordance with \"The Counties Act 1876 Amendment Act, 1882.\"

SPECIAL ORDER.
THAT this Council hereby resumes the power to levy rates within the Road Districts of Waitoa and Taotaoroa, and revokes the special order of the 18th day of April, 1883, by which the said power was delegated to the Road Boards of the said districts.
I hereby certify that the above special order was duly made in accordance with the provisions of \"The Counties Act, 1876,\" and the amendments thereto.

THE following special order, made by the Porangahau Road Board, is published in accordance with \"The Road Boards Act, 1882.\"

SPECIAL ORDER.
THAT a rate of a farthing in the pound on the rateable value be levied on all rateable property in the Porangahau Road Board District for the year commencing on the 1st day of April, 1884, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1885. The said rate to be payable in one sum on the 1st day of December, 1884.
I hereby certify that the above special resolution has been duly passed in conformity with the 74th and 75th clauses of \"The Road Boards Act, 1882.\"
