Gold Fields Notices.

Mineral Lease to be granted.

IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of “The Mines Act, 1877,” and with the regulations made under that Act for the granting of leases for coal-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant a lease of Crown lands for coal-mining purposes to the applicant specified in the annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objections against such lease.

Objections to the granting of such lease, stating the grounds of objection, must be made in writing, and lodged at the Crown Lands Office, Dunedin, within thirty days from the publication of this notice.

Copy of the application made and plan annexed may be seen at the Crown Lands Office at Dunedin.

SCHEDULE.

APPLICANT: Christian Archer. Style under which it is intended to conduct the business: “Commercial Coal-Mining Company.” 20 acres, in the Mount Ida Mining District, being Section 18, Block V., Kyeburn. Term applied for: Twenty years.

Given under my hand, at Dunedin, this twenty-fourth day of January, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four.
