Districts constituted under “The Marriage Act, 1880.”

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in the Governor by “The Marriage Act, 1880,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing marriage district known as the Feilding District, and do proclaim and declare that the territory heretofore comprised within the said district is hereby divided anew into two marriage districts, the names and boundaries whereof shall be as follow:—
HALCOMBE DISTRICT.
All that area in the Provincial District of Wellington comprised within the boundaries of Subdivisions Nos. 2 and 3 of the Manchester Road District, as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 42, of the 18th May, 1883, inclusive of the Town District of Halcombe.
FEILDING DISTRICT.
All that area in the Provincial District of Wellington bounded towards the North-west and South-west by the Halcombe District, hereinbefore described; towards the North by a line produced due east from the intersection of the northern boundary-line of the Rangitikei Block with the Rangitikei River to the Oruua River; thence towards the South-east by the latter river to the Sanson District, as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 74, of the 7th September, 1882; and thence again towards the South-west by that district.
And I hereby declare that this Proclamation shall come into operation on the fifteenth day of November, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four.
Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General in Her Majesty’s Army, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this seventeenth day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in the Governor by “The Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1875,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing registration district known as the Feilding District; and do proclaim and declare that the territory heretofore comprised within the said district is hereby divided anew into two registration districts, the names whereof shall be the Halcombe and Feilding Districts, and the boundaries whereof shall be coterminous with the boundaries of the marriage districts bearing the same names as are set forth in a Proclamation of even date herewith, made under the provisions of “The Marriage Act, 1880.”
And I hereby declare that this Proclamation shall come into operation on the fifteenth day of November, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS Thomas Windle Parker, who was appointed a Trustee of the Oamaru Drill-shed under “The Oamaru Drillshed Reserve Management Ordinance, 1871,” has resigned such appointment, and it is expedient to appoint another person in his stead:
Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by virtue of every power vested in me by the said ordinance and otherwise by law, do hereby appoint
THOMAS WILLIAM HISLOP, Esquire,
of Oamaru, to be a Trustee of the said Oamaru Drillshed.
