THE Rangiaohia Road District Board hereby give notice of their intention, under the provisions contained in “The Public Works Act, 1876,” to close the road between Allotments Nos. 39 and 55A, Parish of Puniu. Plans and full descriptions of the above road to be closed can be seen at the office of the Board for thirteen weeks.

Schedule.

ALL that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods 9 perches, more or less, situate in the Survey District of Puniu, Provincial District of Auckland, Parish of Puniu; commencing at a point in the road-line which forms the southern boundary of Allotments Nos. 39 and 55A. Bounded—Westerly and North-westerly by lines, 228 and 804 links respectively; thence North-easterly by a line, 638 links; thence South-easterly by a line, 121 links; thence South-westerly by a line, 500 links; thence South-easterly and Easterly by lines, 700 and 243 links respectively; thence South-westerly by public road to commencing point, 105 links.

ALL that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 2 acres 3 roods 32 perches, more or less, situate in the Puniu Survey District, Parish of Mangapiko, in the Provincial District of Auckland. Bounded towards the North-west by Allotment No. 48, Parish of Mangapiko, 2950 links; thence towards the South-west by Allotment No. 47 in the aforesaid parish, 100 links; thence towards the South-east by Allotment No. 46 in the aforesaid parish, 2950 links; thence towards the North-east by a public road, 100 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No. 156, deposited in the Survey Office, at Auckland.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Greenstone Branch, No. 50, of the Hibernian Australasian Catholic Benefit Society, Register No. 123, held at Greenstone, is dissolved by instrument, registered at this office the 25th day of September, 1884, unless, within three months from the date of the Gazette in which this advertisement appears, proceedings be commenced by a member or other person interested in or having any claim on the funds of the society to set aside such dissolution, and the same is set aside accordingly.

I, CHARLES GEORGE SATCHELL, late of Tunbridge Wells, England, Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and Licentiate of the Society of Apothecaries, London, hereby give notice that I have deposited with the Registrar of the Nelson District the necessary proof of my having obtained the above degrees in surgery and medicine, and intend to apply to be registered under the New Zealand Medical Act in one month from the date hereof.

The partnership business will be carried on as heretofore by SAMUEL LUKE, WILLIAM LUKE, SAMUEL PEARCE LUKE, CHARLES MANLEY LUKE, and JOHN PEARCE LUKE, under the style or firm of “S. Luke and Sons,” who will receive all debts due to and discharge all liabilities of the late firm.

NEW ZEALAND HANSARD.

GREAT REDUCTION IN PRICE.

THE House of Representatives having ordered that Hansard should be offered for sale to the public at the cost of paper, presswork, and binding (exclusive of composition), this is to notify that the subscription of Ten Shillings for each session hitherto charged is now REDUCED to TWOPENCE per PART, post free. The average number of parts per session is thirty, so that subscribers wishing to take them for the session should pay for that number.

All Postmasters throughout the colony are authorized to receive the names and addresses of intending subscribers, on prepayment of subscriptions.

Orders will be supplied only from the date of their reception at the Government Printing Office at Wellington, unless previous numbers should be in stock.

Hansard is published in bi-weekly parts on Tuesdays and Fridays.
