NOTICE.—WILLIAM SEYMOUR FERGIE, a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria, has been appointed, this day, by His Honour Mr. Justice Williams, a Commissioner of the Supreme Court of New Zealand in the Colony of Victoria, under “The Commissioners of the Supreme Court Act, 1875,” for the purpose of taking affidavits, and for taking the acknowledgments of married women, as in the said Act mentioned.

Application for Registration of Two Trade Marks.

NOTICE is hereby given that G. H. ADAMS, of 119, Pitt Street, Sydney, in the Colony of New South Wales, has applied, on behalf of ARCHIBALD MONTGOMERY KIRKER, WILLIAM GREER, and GEORGE HILL ADAMS, trading at Sydney aforesaid, under the style or firm of “Kirker, Greer, and Co., Limited,” to register, under “The Trade Marks Act, 1866,” the trade marks of which the following is a description:—
Description of Trade Mark No 1.
A square label; in the centre a shamrock leaf with the words “trade mark” underneath, and in a circle round the said leaf the words “Tha Shamrock Whisky;” at the bottom of the said label are the words “Kirker, Greer, & Co., Belfast.”
Description of Trade Mark No. 2.
An oval-shaped label, with a scene of a loch with mountains in the background; on the left-hand side a Scotch thistle. At the top of the said label are the words “Loch Dhu,” across the middle of the label are the words “Scotch Whisky,” and at the bottom of the label is a shield with a monogram of “K. G. & Co.” and the words “trade mark” on it, and also a scroll bearing the words “Kirker, Greer, & Co.”
Nature of the Article to which it is intended such Trade Marks shall apply.
Whisky in case and bulk.
