NOTE.—The lands enumerated above shall be sold for cash,
immediately on purchase. The prices stated in the Schedule
shall be the prices at which the lands shall be open for applica-
tion. No person shall be allowed to acquire more than one
section. If there should be more than one application for any
section, the right to purchase the same shall be determined by
lot amongst the applicants. Applications will be received at
the Land Offices, Auckland, Tauranga, and Gisborne.

Plans of all the above lands may be seen on application at
this office; at the Land Offices, Tauranga and Gisborne; and at
all the principal Land Offices of the colony.

Further Sale of Sections, Pohangina and Waipakura Survey
Districts.

Crown Lands Office,
Wellington, 10th January, 1883.

THE Crown Lands as under will be open for application, for
cash, on Monday, the 19th February next, and every
lawful day thereafter until sold, at the Land Office at Wel-
lington.

SCHEDULE.

The Harbour Board Block is covered with valuable timber,
including totara. Settlement on the block is satisfactorily
progressing, forty-two sections having been purchased. Ap-
proachable by good roads. Distance from Palmerston, about
fourteen miles.

The Tokomaru sections are undulating and hilly, well
watered, and accessible by roads formed and in progress. The
growth of timber is light, interspersed with fern; the soil good.
Distance from Wanganui, about ten miles.

Terms of Sale: One-fourth of the purchase-money to be paid
on application, and the balance to the Receiver of Land Revenue
at Wellington within one calendar month from date of appli-
cation; otherwise the deposit will be forfeited, and the contract
for the sale of the land thenceforth will be null and void.
Crown-grant fees to be paid on completion of the purchase.

Coloured lithographic plans of the above sections are on view
at the Land Offices throughout the colony.

Auction Sale of Crown Lands at Masterton.

Wellington, 8th January, 1883.

ON Thursday, the 15th February, at 11 o’clock in the fore-
noon, the following sections situate in the Mangaone,
Tiffen, and Mangapakeha Survey Districts, near Masterton, the
Waipawa, Wainuioru, Mount Cerberus, and Aohanga Survey
Districts on the East Coast, and Mount Robinson Survey
District, Manawatu, will be offered for sale by public auction,
for cash, at the Institute, Masterton.

SCHEDULE.

• £300 added for improvements, which must be paid in cash at sale.
  † £340 added for improvements, which must be paid in cash at sale.
  ‡ £200 added for improvements, which must be paid in cash at sale.

Terms of Payment: One-fourth must be paid on the day of
sale, and the balance to the Receiver of Land Revenue at
Wellington within one month from date of sale.

On some of the above sections there is good timber, including
totara; soil good, and well watered.

The position of the above sections can be seen on the record
map at the Land or Survey Office, Wellington, and at Masterton
on the day of sale.
