NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT A WATER-
RACE.
Longwood District, 21st July, 1883.
To the Warden at Riverton.
I HEREBY give notice that I intend to contruct a Water-
race to divert and use water for mining purposes, com-
mencing at a point in Sloan's Gully and all creeks creeks in its
course, and terminating at Cookson's Creek, Longwood.
The length of such race is about seven miles or there-
abouts, and its intended course is north and south.
The mean depth of such race is 2 feet 6 inches, and the
mean breadth is 3 feet, and it is proposed to divert eight
Government-heads of water.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore
subsisting between CHARLES WILLIAM COWPER and
WILLIAM FREDERICK KNIGHT, carrying on business as Sheep-
farmers and Graziers under the style or firm of "Cowper and
Knight," has been mutually dissolved, as from the fifteenth
day of August, 1883. The business will be carried on by the
said William Frederick Knight and Frederick George Cowper,
by whom all debts owing by the late copartnership will be
paid, and to whom all debts owing to the said late copartner-
ship must be paid.
