OTICE is hereby given that the under-mentioned per-

others, is offered for sale. And further, that, unless within

this notice, a sufficient amount shall have been realized by

an order will be issued by me foreclosing the right of the
mortgagor to redeem the said land.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT A WATER-
RACE.
To the Mining Registrar at Hokitika, and all other persons
whom it may concern.
TAKE notice that it is intended to construct a Water-
race and divert water for mining purposes, commencing
at a point near Humphrey's Gully, on the western boundary
line of Hokitika Harbour Board Endowment Reserve No.
145, and running generally in a westerly direction along the
leading spur to the terminating point in a creek known as
Jamieson's Creek (as shown on accompanying map).
The length of such race is two (2) miles or thereabouts.
The mean depth of such race is six (6) feet, and the mean
breadth six (6) feet, and is proposed to carry one hundred
Government-heads,

The estimated time for construction of such race is two (2)
years.
Map of approximate route of proposed Water-race attached
hereto. To be more particularly defined after survey.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT A WATER-
RACE.
Inangahua, 26th June, 1883.
To the Mining Registrar, at Reefton, of the Inangahua Mining
District, and to all other persons whom it may concern.
TAKE notice that it is intended to construct a water-race to
divert and use water for driving machinery for saw-mill,
commencing at a peg marked S on the bank of a creek to the
south from Stony Creek about three-quarters of a mile, and
terminating at a peg also marked S on Terrace.
The length of such race is 80 chains or thereabouts, and its
intended course is south-east.
The mean depth of such race is 2 feet, and the mean breadth
is 2 feet; and it is proposed to divert six Government-heads of
water.
