NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD
PURPOSES.

THE Wairoa Highway Board proposes to take certain lands
hereinafter described for road purposes; and all persons
affected are requested to set forth in writing any well-grounded
objections to the taking of such lands or the execution of the
proposed work, and to send such writing, within forty days
from the date of publication hereof, to the Wairoa Highway
Board.

Plans are open for inspection at the residence of Mr. John
Morton, Waverley.

  1. About 7 acres 1 rood, more or less, being part of Sections
    115, 124, and 125, Okotuku.
  2. About 9 acres 2 roods 38 perches, more or less, being
    part of Sections 348, 435, and 283, Okotuku.
    As the same is more particularly delineated on the plans, and
    tinted pink.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership between the
undersigned JOHN RALPH REES and WILLIAM ROBERT
WILLIAMS, as Coal and Cement Merchants at Collingwood,
under the firm of "Rees and Williams," was, on the 29th day
of August, 1882, dissolved by mutual consent; and that the
business will be carried on by the said John Ralph Rees on his
separate account; and that the said John Ralph Rees will pay
and receive all debts owing from and to the said partnership in
the regular course of trade.

WALLACE COUNTY COUNCIL.

NOTICE UNDER "THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1882."

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wallace County Council
intend to take part of Section 28, Block IV., Aparima
Hundred, for a road in lieu of a road stopped; and that the
said Council have caused a plan to be prepared showing the
land required to be taken for the same, together with the
names of the owners and occupiers of such land, as far as they
can be ascertained, and that such plan is deposited at the
store of Mr. Robert Campbell, Otautau, County of Wallace,
and open for inspection by all persons, at all reasonable hours.

And all persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in
writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of such
works or the taking of such lands, and to send such writing
within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the
Wallace County Council, at their office at Riverton.
