THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

Karamu Road District.

All that area in the Provincial District of Auckland,
bounded towards the North by Section No. 66, Parish of
Waipa, Alexandra Survey District; thence towards the East
by a line along the middle of the Waipa River; thence towards
the South and South-east by the Pirongia Road District,
hereinbefore described; and thence towards the South-west by
a right line from the westernmost corner of the Pirongia Road
District aforesaid to the summit of the Tena Ranges; and
thence towards the North-west by the Tena Ranges aforesaid to
the place of commencement.

Te Akau Road District.

All that area in the Provincial District of Auckland,
bounded towards the North-west by a line along the middle of
the Waikato River to a point in line with the production of
the south-western boundary-line of the Parish of Whangape;
thence towards the North-east by a right line to and thence by
that parish, and by the Parishes of Pepepe and Waipa to
Whaingaroa Harbour at Puketutu; thence towards the South-
east by that harbour; and thence towards the South-west by
the ocean to the place of commencement.

TAURANGA COUNTY.

Katikati Road District.

All that area in the Provincial District of Auckland, bounded
towards the North-east by the ocean, from Ngakuriawhare to
the Katikati entrance; thence by the Katikati entrance afore-
said and Tauranga Harbour to the Aongatete River; thence
towards the South-east by a line along the middle of that river
and a line along the middle of the Kauritutaki River to the
source of the latter river; thence by a right line bearing about
247° west to the confiscation boundary-line; thence towards the
South-west by that boundary-line to the summit of Te Aroha
Mountain; and thence towards the North-west by the confis-
cation boundary-line aforesaid to the place of commencement:
excepting all townships from the above-described area.

Te Puna Road District.

All that area in the Provincial District of Auckland, bounded
towards the North-east by Tauranga Harbour, from the Aonga-
tete River to the Wairoa River; thence towards the South-
east and East by a line along the middle of that river and along
the middle of the Mangapapa River to the south-western
corner of the Parish of Te Papa; thence by a right line due
south to the confiscation boundary-line; thence towards the
South-west by that boundary-line; and thence towards the
North-west by the Katikati Road District, hereinbefore de-
scribed, to the place of commencement: excepting from the
above-described area the Township of Te Puna.

Te Puke Road District.

All that area in the Provincial District of Auckland, bounded
towards the North-east by the ocean, from Wairakei to Trig.
Station No. 17, Te Tumu Survey District; thence towards the
East by a right line bearing south 3° 28′30 west to Trig.
Station Te Kapua on the Kaituna River (the aforesaid line
being part of the western boundary-line of the Kaituna
Block); thence by the Kaituna River aforesaid and the Waiare
River; thence towards the South by the Oturuturu and the
Mangatoi Creeks to a point bearing north 109° 46′ east from
Trig. Station No. 15 on Otanewainuku; thence by a right line
to that trig. station; thence towards the North-west by a
right line to the trig. station on Otara; and thence by a right
line to Wairakei, the place of commencement.

WHAKATANE COUNTY.

Whakatane Road District.

All that area in the Provincial District of Auckland, bounded
towards the North by the ocean, from the south head of the
Whakatane River to the Waiotahi River; thence towards the
East by the Waiotahi River aforesaid to the confiscation
boundary-line; thence towards the South by that boundary-
line to its intersection by the Whakatane River aforesaid;
and thence towards the West by that river to the place of
commencement.

Opotiki Road District.

All that area in the Provincial District of Auckland, bounded
towards the North by the ocean, from the Waiotahi River to
the Opape River; thence towards the East by the latter river
to the confiscation boundary-line; thence towards the South by
that boundary-line; and thence towards the West by the Waio-
tahi River aforesaid to the place of commencement: excepting
from the above-described area the Town District of Opotiki.

COOK COUNTY.

Waikohu Road Districl.

All that area in the Provincial District of Auckland, bounded
towards the North-east by a right line from Trig. Station No.
139, Arowhana Survey District, to Trig. Station No. 178; thence

by a right line to Trig. Station No. 170; thence towards the
East by right lines passing over Trig. Stations Nos. 168,
134, and 129; thence by the production of the line joining
Trig. Station Nos. 134 and 129 aforesaid to the Waimata River;
thence by that river to the southern boundary-line of the Wai-
mata West Block; thence towards the South by the southern
boundary-line of that block to the Ngakoroa Block; thence
again towards the East and towards the South-east and South-
west by the eastern, south-eastern, and south-western boundary-
lines of that block to the Waipaoa River; thence again towards
the East by a line along the middle of that river to the Wai-
kaahu Stream; thence again towards the South-east and South-
west by that stream and the Waikarikariki Stream to the north-
eastern corner of the Okahuatiu No. 2 Block; thence by that
block to the Wharekopae Stream; thence by that stream to
the Wharekopae Block; thence by the last-mentioned block to
Maungatapere; thence by a right line to the source of the
Koranga River; thence by a line along the middle of that river
to the north-western corner of the Motu Block; thence towards
the North-west by the north-western boundary-lines of the
Motu Block aforesaid to the Motu River; thence by a line
along the middle of that river to its intersection by the pro-
duction of a right line drawn between Trig. Stations 140 and
139; and thence by that line and the line between the last-
mentioned trig. stations to the place of commencement.

Turanganui Road District.

All that area in the Provincial District of Auckland, bounded
towards the North-east by the north-eastern boundary-lines of
the Mangaheia No. 2 Block, from Trig. Station No. 169 to the
Uawa River; thence towards the West by a line along the
middle of that river to the northern boundary-line of the
Anaura Block; thence towards the North by that boundary-
line to the ocean; thence towards the East by the ocean to the
southernmost corner of the Kaiti Block; thence towards the
South-west by the ocean, the Borough of Gisborne, and a
line along the middle of the Taruheru River to a line being the
production of the north-western boundary-line of the Whatau-
poko Block; thence towards the North-west and again towards
the North by a line to and thence by that boundary-line and
the northern boundary-line of the Pouawa Block; thence again
towards the West and North by the western and northern
boundary-lines of the Whangara Block to the Pakarae Creek;
thence again towards the West by that creek to the southern
boundary-line of the Mangaheia No. 1 Block; thence towards
the South, North-west, and again towards the West by the
southern and north-western boundary-lines of the last-men-
tioned block, the western and north-western boundary-lines of
the Takapau Block, and the western boundary-lines of Te
Marunga Block; and thence again towards the North-east by
the Mangatokerau Block to the place of commencement.

Ormond Road District.

All that area in the Provincial District of Auckland, bounded
towards the North-east by lines from the Waipaca River, at a
point called Te Moari, 1665 links, 1600 links, 1280 links, 1664
links, 443 links, 700 links, 10100 links, and 15175 links, to Te
Matatu (being the north-eastern boundary-line of the Muhunga
Block); thence towards the South-east by lines along the south-
eastern boundary of that block, 8805 links, 800 links, 1095
links, 922 links, 712 links, 573 links, 3602 links, 1030 links,
958 links, 3000 links, 5157 links, and 1750 links, to the
Taruheru River; thence again towards the North-east by that
river to the northern boundary-line of land known as the
School Estate; thence towards the South by that boundary-
line 9200 links, and by part of the western boundary-line of
the School Estate aforesaid 1670 links; thence by part of
the northern boundary-line of the Makauri Block, and a line
for a distance of 803 links to the Wairenga-a-hika Lagoon;
thence by the northern and western shores of that lagoon to
the Waipaca River aforesaid; and thence towards the West by
the Waikohu Road District, hereinbefore described, to the place
of commencement.

Poverty Bay Road District.

All that area in the Provincial District of Auckland, bounded
towards the North by the Ormond Road District, hereinbefore
described; thence towards the East by the Turanganui Road
District, hereinbefore described, to the Borough of Gisborne;
thence towards the South-east and North-east by the Borough
of Gisborne aforesaid to the ocean; thence towards the South-
east by the ocean to the mouth of the Waipaca River; and
thence towards the West by that river and the Waikohu Road
District, hereinbefore described, to the place of commencement.

Patutahi Road District.

All that area in the Provincial District of Auckland, bounded
towards the North-west, North-east, and North by the Waikohu
Road District, hereinbefore described, from the north-eastern
corner of the Okahuatiu No. 2 Block to the Waipaoa River;
