THE Otepopo Road Board has, by special order, reduced the
number of its members to eight, namely, two to each of
the Subdivisions of Allday, Chelsea, Copenanhurst, and Sydney.

AWATERE ROAD BOARD.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

THE Awatere Road Board having resolved to take the land
public roads in pursuance of the provisions of "The Public
Works Act, 1882," notice is hereby given that plans and
accurate descriptions of the land to be taken are deposited at
the house of H. J. Stace, Esq., Starborough, in the Awatere
Road District, and that such plans and descriptions are open to
inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours for a period of
forty days from the date thereof; and that all persons affected
are hereby required to set forth in writing any well-grounded
objections to the execution of such work, and to send such
writing within forty days from the date hereof to the Secretary
of the Awatere Road Board at Blenheim.

WORKS TO BE EXECUTED AND LAND TAKEN.

To construct a road commencing at the Grey River through
the lands hereinafter mentioned, terminating in Section No. 11,
and to take all those pieces or parcels of land of the width of
one chain or thereabouts, commencing from the road on the
south bank of the Grey River, and extending through and along
Sections 34, 32, 31, 37, 30, 29, 36, 35, 27, 24, 23, 26, 25, 19, 12,
11, 16, and terminating in Section No. 11, Upper Fairfield
Downs Crown Grant District, as the same are more particularly
delineated and described in the plans aforesaid.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership which has for
merly been carried on by Messrs. Anson and
JOHN DUFFILL, under the firm of "Duffill Brothers," at Hawera
and Opunake, in the Provincial District of Taranaki and the
Colony of New Zealand, in the trade or business of Cabinet-
makers and Upholsterers, was this day dissolved by mutual
consent; and that all debts due and owing to or by the late firm
at Opunake will be received and paid by the said Alfred Duffill,
at Opunake; and that all debts due and owing to or by the late
firm at Hawera will be received and paid by the said John
Duffill, at Hawera.

As witness our hands, this 12th day of April, 1883.

The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.
Communications should be addressed to the Government
Printer, Wellington, to whom post-office money-orders should
be made payable.
NO ADVERTISEMENT WILL BE INSERTED WITHOUT PREPAY-
MENT BEING MADE.
Postage or duty stamps cannot in any case be received in
payment from any place at which post-office orders are issued.
Booksellers and Advertising Agents will be allowed a com-
mission at the rate of 5 per cent.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening
in each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the
Government Printer before 2 o'clock of the day preceding
publication.
