NOTE. In drawing attention to the sale of the above runs
it is unnecessary to say much, as the country is well known for
its grazing capacity for either sheep or cattle.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE.

The leases of the above runs will be sold subject to the
general provisions as to runs specified in the Land Acts, 1877,
1879, and 1882.

The first year's rent-from the 1st March, 1884-must be paid
on fall of hammer, either by cheque marked by banker, or in
cash, and thereafter by half-yearly payments (in advance) on the
1st March and 1st September in each year. Possession will be
given on the 1st March, 1884. Valuations for improvements
(if any), which shall in no case exceed three times the amount
of the average annual rent paid under the existing leases, are to
be paid to the Receiver of Land Revenue, Dunedin, one month
before getting possession, in pursuance of sections 115 to 117 of
"The Land Act, 1877." The license-fee will also be payable
one month before possession will be given.
