Gold-Mining Leases to be granted.
IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of “The Mines Act, 1877,” and with the regulations made under that Act for the granting of leases for gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant leases of Crown lands for gold-mining purposes to the applicants specified in the annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objections against such leases.
Objections to the granting of such leases, stating the grounds of objection, must be made in writing, and lodged with the Warden at Alexandra South on or before the 3rd day of December, 1883.
Copy of the applications made and plans annexed may be seen at the Warden’s Office at Alexandra South.
SCHEDULE.
APPLICANTS: James White, George Wilkinson, Thomas Kahill, John Rymill Kemp, William Fraser, Ewen Pilling, James Gavin, Robert Kinnaird.
